1. Our doctors sit down with each new patient for a pre-examination consultation. during this time the doctor endeavors to learn as much as possible about the individual's health history and present physical condition. This process enables us to make a more accurate diagnosis, for it is our standard practice to treat only those patients whom we sincerely believe we can help. |

2. After the consultation is complete, and the doctor feels you may benefit from chiropractic care, a physical examination is performed. During the exam, the doctor gathers as much information about the patient's physical condition that they can, so that he or she may identify the cause of the problem. Doctors of Chiropractic undergo a minimum of seven years of schooling prior to receiving a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.

3. X-Ray is the cornerstone of chiropractic diagnostic procedures. Our doctors attempt to see the "big picture", revealing functional problems and hidden ailments which might not otherwise be apparent. standing postural and motion X-rays often are utilized to see if problems are present. 4. Following the examination, the patient is thoroughly briefed on the cause of her or her condition. The doctor's finding are explained in a clear and concise manner, so that the patient has a complete understanding of their problem and how it can be improved. In this way an atmosphere of cooperative participation is achieved, insuring optimum results and harmony. It is only after consultation and examination that a treatment plan is prescribed and implemented. |

5. The major form of treatment rendered by the doctor of chiropractic is the "adjustment" The Chiropractic Adjustment is designed to correct functional problems between the vertebrae and other joints, known as "subluxations". There are many different types of adjusting techniques. These techniques can be applied to the spine or other related joints-such as in the case of a sports or recreational injury.
